Playing with Change

Leading Change 2011 will guide you and those around you through a two-day exercise that results in a proposal inspired by your ideas. You and other participants will form teams to come up with an idea, collaborate together, and produce a small project proposal over the course of two days. At the end of day two, funders and community members will review your proposals and award support in the form of small funds, time commitments, community support, or crucial feedback.

This is a great chance to take that idea you’ve been waiting to work on and get support for it. Leading Change 2011 will help you take your big dreams and pare them down into manageable projects. Mentors, coaches, and experienced participants will support and collaborate with you to produce a simple proposal – driven by you. You’ll get the opportunity to look at others’ proposals and form partnerships and provide them with support on future projects too.
Leading Change 2011 provides you and your peers with a chance to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills. Leading positive change can come from any level within an organization and within the non-profit sector; whether it’s from the frontlines or the upper management level, you can make a difference.
